This program of vibrant, award-winning shorts showcases the latest fusions of filmmaking and dance from around the world. Timecode(2016), is Spanish director Juanjo Jiménez’s story of two parking lot attendants’ flirtation via security cameras. The film received a Palme d’Or at the 69th Cannes Film Festival in 2016. Shift (2015), the thrilling aerial dance performed by climbers on the sides of Yosemite’s stunning mountain scape. And, Exquisite Corps (2016), Mitchell Rose’s viral phenomenon that links together 42 contemporary American choreographers in a cinematic love letter to dance.

Plus a short by local filmmaker Max Wildenhaus.
